I put my feet to the floor at just after five in the morning. Slowly I press down to stand up. It takes but a moment to be accurately aware; I am not twenty anymore. “Ay…” I mutter as I attempt a few sun salutations to loosen up. The stiffness in my lower back is more pronounced than usual after five hours in the car.
